Total War is not a first pre-workout. At 320mg of caffeine a serving it sits at the heavy end of the market, and it is aimed at people who have already found that a standard scoop does not do much for them any more.
The caffeine is deliberately split: 250mg as fast-acting anhydrous plus di-caffeine malate, which releases more slowly and stretches the effect past the first twenty minutes. Underneath it sits 6g of citrulline malate for blood flow and pumps, 3.2g of beta-alanine for the endurance side, and green tea and juniper extracts. REDCON1 dose it openly rather than hiding amounts in a proprietary blend.
Each tub holds 30 servings, and one scoop is genuinely enough to start with.
The flavour range is unusually wide: Tigers Blood, Grape, Sour Gummy, Strawberry Mango, Cali Splash, Rainbow Candy, Watermelon, Baja Bomb and Orange Crush.
