Basix build theirs on hydrolysed beef protein isolate, so it is dairy free and lactose free without going plant-based. A 30g scoop gives 28g of protein for about 106 calories, with zero fat, zero sugar and 0.4g of carbohydrate, of which all is fibre. It is the leanest protein in the range by some distance, and the format makes it easy to drink through a session rather than after it.
The 2000G tub holds 67 servings, which is a long way into a training block. One scoop in 300 to 400ml of cold water, shaken and drunk straight away while it is still cold.
Eight flavours: Peach Ice Tea, Mango, Cherry Cola, Energy Fusion, Mixed Berry, Cola Lime, Watermelon and Pineapple. Energy Fusion runs to 27g of protein rather than 28g.
